Shawnee, like much of Kansas, is blessed with a climate that makes it green and fresh year-round. Winters are mild and often sunny, while summer is warm without being overly hot, and rainfall is relatively low in this state when compared to other parts of the US. This makes it a great place for families and other groups who don’t want to endure the extremes of wild weather.
